Problema con Minecraft URGENTE

Bueno, en realidad son 2 problemas, tengo un buen PC (Sapphire Radeon 7950 OC i5 3570K y 8 GB de RAM) y uso Windows Ultimate x64, sin embargo al poner render distance Far sale un mensaje en rojo diciendo 64 BIT JAVA INSTALLATION IS RECOMMENDED FOR 'FAR' RENDER DISTANCE (YOU HAVE 32 BIT) cuando esto no es cierto, ya que desde la web he descargado expresamente la version de 64 bits. Mi otro problema es que al usar texturas de 512x el juego se me crashea, tengo el mc patcher actualizado y demas, pero me crashea siempre, he leido en internet que hay que aportar mas memoria ram a java o algo asi, pero eso no me ha funcionado (o no lo he hecho correctamente) Espero que me ayudeis.

Por tu primer problema tienes una solución bastante sencilla. Accede a la página de java y descárgate la versión x64... este link http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=75261 Por lo de las texturas... si quieres ejecutar minecraft con más RAM busca algún tutorial en youtube de "como asignar RAM a minecraft" Seguro que encuentras algún tutorial básico de como hacerlo. Segun el error que te dio el minecraft dice que tienes windows 7 de 32 bits: [b]Operating System: Windows 7 (x86) version 6.1[/b] ¿Estas seguro que el sistema operativo es de 64 bits? o dices que es de 64bits porque tu computador "soporta" 64bits?

Es verdad :/... no se me ocurre que puede ser, pero para asegurarme, no tienes el java de 32bits y 64bits al mismo tiempo instalados? deberias ravisar y desintalar (si es que lo tienes) el de 32 bits. Y ademas has intentado jugar a traves de otro launcher?

Ya desinstale el java de 32 (dejando solo el de 64) y al entrar al mine me daba error como si java no estuviera instalado, lei por internet que podia pasar si solo dejabas uno, asi que deje los 2 instalados. En cuanto a lo del launcher no he probado otro, ¿me podeis pasar alguien uno que funcione bien? es que no se que pagina es fiable para descargarlos. Gracias por la ayuda.
